Vera Anderson is Chair of Tampa Bay 03 and founder of Global Elements Consulting, a Legacy Mindset Coaching organization for international business leaders who are exiting their business through sale or succession. At the age of 26, Vera joined a boutique private equity firm and completed over $300M in acquisitions in the US and abroad. She served on the boards of international companies, launched and raised capital for several startups, and served as Entrepreneur in Residence at the University of Tampa. Vera graduated from Penn State University with dual degrees in International Finance and French and has lived and worked in Moscow, Indonesia, Paris, and London.

Laird Cagan is the Chair of San Francisco 01. As founder of his investment firm, Cagan McAfee Capital Partners, Laird has been a private investor for 25 years in energy, clean-tech, fin-tech, high-tech and health care. Over $3 billion has been invested in those companies, of which more than 10 have gone public. Earlier in his career, Laird worked at Goldman, Sachs & Co. and Drexel Burnham Lambert. Laird is a past Chairman of YPO and WPO chapters in San Francisco. Laird is an avid athlete and played varsity soccer while at Stanford. He is also a former member of the Stanford University Athletic Board. Laird attended MIT, and earned his BS, MS and MBA degrees from Stanford University. He is also a graduate of the UCLA Board of Directors’ program. Finally, Laird is a founder, together with his wife, of Stand4Lyme, an organization focused on research to find a cure for Lyme disease.

Rob Fleischman is the Chair of Boston 01 and Global 01. Rob was the first member of Boston TIGER 21 and because of his love of the experience, transitioned to becoming a Chair. He approaches chairing as a peer and embraces members as trusted friends and advisors. After graduating from MIT, Rob began his career at BBN Labs, where the Internet was invented, in fact, Rob’s first mentor was Ray Tomlinson, the inventor of e-mail. Rob founded multiple start-ups, holds many patents, and invented and helped build technologies that currently process trillions of transactions daily on the Internet. For many years, for fun, Rob could be heard on the radio as a guest and contributor to NPR in New England as the “explainer of all things wired”. Finally, and most importantly, Rob is a dedicated husband and father (2 daughters) and works hard to maintain an active life in New Hampshire.

Steve Freedman is Chair of Global 04 and 05. Steve recently made the transition to a Chair role with TIGER 21 after 10 years of Membership where he has made a significant impact in the community. His career began in accounting, having earned a B.B.A. in Accounting from Emory University and worked in the audit department at KPMG where he was a licensed CPA in the state of Georgia. In 1994, he founded Getmembers.com which became one of the leading direct marketing agencies in the United States. Steve is a highly accomplished entrepreneur and investor with a wealth of experience in direct marketing and alternative investments. Currently, Steve is the CEO of Beach Ball Capital, LLC, which focuses on short and long-term alternative investments including real estate and private equity. Steve lives in Sandy Springs, GA, with his wife, Lisa, and their two daughters, Alexa and Julia. The Freedman family enjoys supporting many causes locally and globally through community service and philanthropy.

Kanu A. Gupta is the founder and managing partner of Beyond, a Singapore headquartered strategic advisory and investment firm for high growth businesses targeting South East Asia. Kanu is also co-founder and general partner of M12 Capital, an India focused hedge fund. Previous to Beyond, Kanu spent 10 years at Goldman, Sachs & Co and was on the founding team to launch Goldman in India. Kanu went on to serve as the Executive Director for Goldman Sachs Investment Partners (GSIP), a $7 billion multi-strategy hedge fund. Kanu is an epicure and the founder of Savor, a gourmet food experiences company that has done over 1,000 dinners and is the founding chef at The Secret Supper Project, a supper club where people come to dinner without knowing what is on the menu, where it is and who it is with. His interests include travel, food, all things Japanese, yoga, padel, cycling and heritage architecture. He regularly guest lectures at National University of Singapore and Kanu is also the chair for TIGER 21 in Singapore. He completed his MBA from INSEAD and his bachelor's degree from the University of Southern California. He currently resides in Singapore with his wife Aparna, their son, Elan, their daughter, Esme and rambunctious beagle, Maxiumus.

James Iacino is Chair of Denver 06. Iacino has deep ties in the peer learning environment having been a Member with Vistage for 7 years, YPO for 8 years, and a Member of TIGER 21 for 5 years before moving into the Chair role. He is the former owner, chairman, and CEO of Seattle Fish Company, a business born and raised in Colorado since 1918. Iacino was named EY Entrepreneur of the Year and Colorado State University’s Graduate of the Last Decade in 2016. He served as chairman of the No Kid Hungry Colorado Leadership Council and past president of the Colorado Children’s Chorale Board of Trustees. Iacino is the co-founder and past chairman of the Green and Gold Foundation, benefiting Colorado State University, his Alma Mater. He is a passionate aviator, fly fisherman, and world traveler. James and his wife Meghan live in Ridgway with their two sons, Edwin and August.

Brian Pohl is Chair of London 01 and Global 03. He is a hands-on leader in business, with a specialized focus on the business of wine and is working towards a Master of Wine. As a principal investor he has successfully re-structured a variety of underperforming or distressed companies, ranging from media to manufacturing, and was CEO of a listed venture capital fund. He is active in YPO WPO, serving in leadership positions in YPO’s Deal Network, chairing networks, events and multi-day retreats in Russia, Switzerland, Canada, the EU and the UK. Pohl was raised in Alberta, Canada and studied at the University of Alberta (B.Sc. 1988, MBA 1990) and later at London Business School in the UK (M.Sc. Finance 1999). He gives back by serving on the schools’ Advisory Council and International Alumni Board. Pohl lives in Cambridge (UK), where he enjoys rowing and is a keen swimmer, having swam from Asia to Europe across the Bosphorus, twice.

Laurence is an entrepreneur and investor based in Cascais, Portugal. He chairs two of TIGER 21’s groups (Portugal 01 and Global 08) with members across multiple continents. He’s spent years in the room with people who’ve built something significant and are working out what it’s all for now - the questions that get harder, not easier, once the obvious ones are answered. Much of what makes the group valuable comes down to the trust built between members who can speak plainly with one another, and that’s the environment Laurence works to create.

David Traversi is the Founding Chair of TIGER 21’s San Francisco Group 04 and Global Group 09, and the CEO of GROW and SELL Advisors, a national sell-side M&A advisory firm. As a former lawyer, serial entrepreneur, Wall Street investment banker, CEO of several private and public companies, board member of over a dozen companies, author of three books (The Source of Leadership, How To GROW Your Business, and How To SELL Your Business), and coach and mentor to scores of entrepreneurs and executives, David brings a diverse and highly valuable set of skills and qualities, and a decidedly relational approach, to his role as TIGER 21 Chair. With an MBA from UC Berkeley Haas School of Business and a JD from UC Davis, David enjoys the guitar, reading, writing, abstract painting, rucking, travel, and cycling.
