Steven Blitz is a Director of Lazard Asset Management LLC and the Head of Fixed Income (North America). He is also the lead Portfolio Manager for Lazard’s U.S. Core and U.S. Core Plus strategies. Prior to joining Lazard in 2002, Mr. Blitz worked as Chief Strategist and Chief Economist at Offitbank, in addition to managing the taxable investment grade fixed income portfolios. Prior to his work at Offitbank, he had research and derivatives trading responsibilities at Salomon Brothers. Earlier, Mr. Blitz was an economist and econometrician at Data Resources. He began working in the investment industry in 1979. Mr. Blitz received his MA in Economics from Columbia University and BA in Economics from New York University.
