Michele Skelding is Chair of Austin 01 & 02, founder at Capital Sage Ventures, and Co-Chair for 50/50 Women on Boards. Michele brings deep industry knowledge garnered during a diverse career across the technology industry, including both Fortune 100 companies and early stage private and venture backed start-ups, including Appconomy, LifeProof, Augmentix, Dell and AT&T. Skelding served as SVP of Technology and Innovation at the Austin Chamber of Commerce, leading efforts to boost the city’s reputation as an incubator of technology and health innovation. She’s served in leadership positions with the Central Texas Angel Network, as a Mentor and Advisor at UT’s Cockrell School of Engineering, Med-to-Market, The Seton 50, SKU and Mass Challenge, G-51 and ATX Ventures. Michele served on Austin Technology Councils board, Texas State STAR Parks Innovation Advisory Board, and as a key advisor of the Mayor’s Innovation Zone. Michele is passionate about supporting the next generation of women and appreciates good wine and conversation.
