Dr. Larry Ohlhauser is a TIGER 21 Chair in Edmonton. A retired physician, Dr. Ohlhauser is the President and CEO of Ohlhauser & Associates, a management-consulting firm focused on the health sector; a Canadian best-selling author of The Healthy CEO; and a sought-after speaker. As an Associate of MacKay CEO Forums, he chairs several forums in Edmonton, Alberta. After several years in clinical practice, Dr. Ohlhauser became CEO of The College of Physicians and Surgeons of Alberta, a role he was in for almost 20 years. Dr. Ohlhauser was named one of the top 100 physicians of the century by the College of Physicians and Surgeons and the Alberta Medical Association. He received the Alberta Centennial Medal in recognition of outstanding service to the people and province of Alberta. Dr. Ohlhauser was named the top Canadian TEC speaker for 2007 and 2010. He recently received the highest international recognition of professional speakers, the Certified Speaking Professional (CSP) designation, from the National Speakers Association. Dr. Ohlhauser is a member of the Institute of Corporate Directors and holds the ICD.D, and sits on both private and not-for-profit boards.
