Angela Jackson is the Chair of Portland 01. She is also GP and managing director of Portland Seed Fund, a seed and pre-seed stage investment fund that she founded with her partners in 2010. Angela is an active investor in tech, climate tech, and health tech companies. She also is engaged with her local university to create high-wage jobs and entrepreneurial opportunities for first gen college students. A G2 raised in a family with a successful technology exit, she is grateful for the business and life lessons she received at the dinner table. She has a M.A. from the University of Oregon and a B.A. from Boston University. Angela met her husband when the pair worked on large ocean-going sailing vessels in Europe and the US. She is the proud mom of two grown children, a NY sous chef, and a Portland sales executive. She enjoys flamenco dancing and travel. -

As the founder and CEO of both Practice Hospitality and This Assembly, Bashar has proven his ability to innovate and lead in the competitive world of hospitality. His notable success in transforming Provenance Hotels into a nationally recognized brand exemplifies his strategic vision and commitment to excellence. Additionally, his involvement in Levant Hotel Holdings highlights his skills in international hotel investment and management. His approach to hospitality is deeply human-centric, as reflected in his philosophy: "Feed the stranger, then know his story." This mantra underscores his belief in the power of hospitality to connect and understand people. His dynamic blend of professional acumen and personal warmth makes him an exemplary leader for anyone looking to join his TIGER 21 group.
