Location: Remote – US based, Eastern Time or Central Time. Occasional travel required (<10%)

Salary Range: $70,000 – $100,000

POSITION SUMMARY:

TIGER 21 is seeking a full-time Corporate Accountant to support our growing global tax, treasury and accounting operations. This permanent, remote position will play a key role in executing and maintaining accounting and financial processes across jurisdictions in North America, Europe, the Middle East, and Asia Pacific.

This role will primarily focus on treasury functions (including cash movement and banking activities), international tax compliance, and support for global financial audit preparation. Secondary responsibilities include general accounting tasks such as payables, receivables, journal entries, and reconciliation support across TIGER 21’s global entities.

This position reports directly to the Tax & Treasury Manager and indirectly to the Accounting Manager, with regular interaction with the CFO and collaboration with teams and vendors worldwide. This role is essential to ensuring TIGER 21’s global accounting integrity, audit readiness, and compliance with international tax and treasury requirements.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • International Treasury & Tax Compliance
    • Prepare, reconcile, and maintain indirect tax filings (e.g., GST, QST, VAT) across international jurisdictions in coordination with local advisors
    • Manage and track treasury transactions, including international and domestic wire transfers, vendor payments, and reimbursements
    • Monitor international banking relationships and resolve ACH, wire, and FX-related issues as needed
    • Maintain documentation for tax remittances and ensure accuracy and compliance with each jurisdiction’s regulatory requirements
    • Collaborate with international accounting firms to support quarterly and annual tax filings and payment processes
    • Compile and transmit detailed financial reports to regional accountants, including invoices, bills, credit memos, and payment records
  • Audit & Financial Statement Support
    • Support financial audit preparation for both U.S. and international entities by gathering documentation, preparing schedules, and responding to auditor inquiries
    • Assist in maintaining audit-ready workpapers and supporting schedules across all relevant jurisdictions
    • Coordinate with external auditors and tax advisors to ensure deadlines are met and deliverables are accurate
  • International Accounting Operations (focus on non-US entities)
    • Manage corporate credit card payments and staff reimbursements through expense management platforms
    • Process accounts payable and accounts receivable in a timely and accurate manner
    • Post and reconcile journal entries and general ledger accounts across multiple entities and currencies
    • Prepare bank and credit card reconciliations
    • Contribute to monthly and year-end closing processes, including trial balance preparation
    • Assist with internal financial reporting and intercompany allocation reviews
  • Cross-Functional Collaboration
    • Communicate with Members, vendors, staff, and third-party service providers to resolve financial and payment-related issues
    • Partner with internal teams including Events, Membership, and Operations to ensure accurate financial tracking and coding
    • Collaborate with Finance colleagues to ensure consistent and accurate reporting across all entities and regions

  • Effective communicator in a remote, cross-functional team setting
  • Organized, self-motivated, and responsive to deadlines

DESIRED EDUCATION & EXPERIENCE:

  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience in Accounting
  • 5+ years of experience in a corporate accounting or treasury role, with exposure to international operations
  • Experience in a multinational of non-U.S. organization strongly preferred
  • Additional accounting-related certifications a plus
  • Skilled in Microsoft Excel, NetSuite or other accounting software, and expense management software
  • Proficiency in U.S. GAAP accounting and financial reporting, exposure to IFRS a plus
  • Knowledge of VAT/GST/QST compliance across multiple countries
