POSITION SUMMARY:
TIGER 21 is seeking an experienced Global Corporate Controller to oversee all global accounting, tax, treasury, and audit operations for our fast‑growing international organization. This role is responsible for maintaining and optimizing a well‑functioning global finance infrastructure across the United States, Canada, the United Kingdom, Europe, Middle East, Singapore, and India.
Reporting directly to the CFO, the Global Corporate Controller will lead a strong and growing team of U.S.-based accounting professionals, including direct oversight of the Tax & Treasury Manager and Accounting Manager. The ideal candidate is highly hands‑on, detail‑oriented, and experienced in running global controllership operations in a private equity-backed, multi‑entity environment with $100M+ revenue scale.
This role will help TIGER 21 continue to scale by ensuring consistent global accounting operations, driving process optimization, and upholding high standards of accuracy, compliance, and governance. This is primarily an operational role focused on execution, leadership, and continuous improvement.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

Global Accounting Operations
- Lead all accounting operations across multiple global entities, ensuring accuracy, consistency, and compliance with U.S. GAAP.
- Oversee global month-end, quarter-end, and year-end close processes.
- Manage global consolidations and the maintenance of statutory books across jurisdictions.
- Maintain high-quality internal controls, policies, and procedures across all countries.
- Oversee use of NetSuite and partner with IT and external consultants to ensure system integrity, reliability, and workflow optimization.
- Ensure proper intercompany accounting, multi-currency handling, allocations, and reconciliations.
Tax Compliance & Treasury Oversight
- Serve as the organization’s primary point of accountability for U.S. and international tax compliance.
- Coordinate directly with external tax advisors across multiple jurisdictions and strengthen TIGER 21’s internal expertise in tax-related matters.
- Oversee cash management, banking operations, cash forecasting, and multi-entity treasury activities.
- Ensure compliance with transfer pricing policies and intercompany cash movement requirements.
- Support the preparation and timely submission of all tax filings and related documentation.
Audit Management & Governance
- Lead the global annual audit process and serve as the primary contact for external auditors.
- Oversee audit readiness, including maintenance of accurate workpapers, supporting schedules, and regulatory documentation.
- Uphold private equity-style governance standards and reporting cadence.
- Strengthen internal controls and risk mitigation processes across all entities.
Team Leadership & Development
- Lead, mentor, and develop a strong U.S.-based team of 4+ corporate accounting professionals.
- Directly manage the Tax & Treasury Manager and the Accounting Manager.
- Foster a supportive, collaborative culture that aligns with TIGER 21’s values of respect, continuous improvement, and teamwork.
- Coordinate workflow with outsourced accounting and tax providers in India.
Process Optimization & Scalability
- Maintain and enhance existing accounting processes, building upon a well‑established operational foundation.
- Identify opportunities for incremental automation and efficiency improvements across global finance operations.
- Ensure consistent accounting practices and controls across all jurisdictions as the organization continues to grow and expand internationally.
- Support scalable processes suitable for continued 20%+ annual revenue growth.
Cross-Functional Collaboration
- Partner with internal teams including Membership Development, Events, Operations, IT, and Legal/HR to ensure accurate financial tracking, allocations, and operational execution.
- Work closely with the CFO on financial governance, reporting, audit support, and compliance activities.
COMPETENCIES FOR SUCCESS:
- Deep knowledge of U.S. GAAP; familiarity with international accounting standards.
- Strong understanding of multi-entity, multi-currency global accounting operations.
- Proven ability to manage global audits in coordination with top-tier audit firms.
- Strong leadership, communication, and organizational skills.
- Ability to manage and prioritize multiple deadlines across global time zones.
- High attention to detail, accuracy, and operational excellence.
DESIRED EDUCATION & EXPERIENCE:
- CPA required (active or inactive).
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or related field preferred.
- 10+ years of progressive accounting experience, including prior leadership in a Controller, Assistant Controller, or equivalent capacity.
- Experience in PE-backed companies strongly preferred.
- Experience with multi‑entity, multinational organizations and $100M+ revenue scale.
- Experience in services, software, or recurring revenue business models preferred.
- Hands-on experience running close processes, managing intercompany activities, preparing consolidations, and reviewing financial statements.
- Experience overseeing tax compliance, treasury operations, and transfer pricing.
TECHNOLOGY:
- NetSuite experience preferred.
