Position Summary:
The Senior Vice President of Groups is instrumental in maintaining and enhancing the quality of TIGER 21 Groups globally. Reporting to the Chief Operating Officer, this role is pivotal in advancing the well-being, skills, and professional achievements of our Chairs. Focused on elevating Chair performance and ensuring adherence to TIGER 21’s brand standards, this position is crucial for optimizing Chair effectiveness and upholding the integrity of TIGER 21 Groups. The role’s primary goal is to ensure our Chairs realize their fullest potential, delivering exceptional value to Members and embodying the TIGER 21 Brand Promise.

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Chair Management and Development:
    • Senior Point of Contact for Chair Support and Development:
      • Serve as the senior liaison for Chairs in support of the ongoing excellence of TIGER 21 Groups.
      • Provide strategic advice and hands-on support, ensuring Chairs effectively manage their Groups and address challenges.
      • Act as a resource for Chairs in handling complex or sensitive Member issues, ensuring smooth Group operations and Member satisfaction.
    • Enhancing Chair Effectiveness and Group Dynamics:
      • Foster high levels of Chair engagement, aiding Chairs in creating cohesive Groups and delivering exceptional meetings.
      • Identify and address areas for improvement in Group dynamics and Member engagement.
      • Facilitate best practice sharing among Chairs to foster a collaborative learning environment.
    • Problem-Solving and Conflict Resolution:
      • Proactively address challenges within Groups, collaborating with Chairs to find effective solutions.
      • Implement innovative approaches to enhance Groups and reduce operational challenges.
    • Continuous Improvement and Professional Development:
      • Along with Best Practice Chairs and the COO, conduct regular assessments of Chairs and their Groups, providing feedback for continuous improvement.
      • Organize development sessions and workshops for Chairs, enhancing their skills in Group management and Member engagement.
  2. Strategic Collaboration and Team Integration:
    • Act as a key liaison within a matrix organization, coordinating with the VP of Field Operations, New Group Build Coaches, and Best Practice Chairs.
    • Ensure integrated support for Chairs, encompassing logistical, meeting, Member recruitment, and Group development aspects.
    • Address operational and strategic challenges, escalating significant issues to the COO.
    • Collaborate closely with the COO on strategic initiatives to align operations with organizational goals.

Reporting Relationships and Key Partnerships

  • Reports to TIGER 21’s Chief Operating Officer.
  • Requires coordination and collaboration with the Vice President of Field Operations, the SVP of New Groups, and our Best Practice Chairs.

Qualifications:

  • A minimum of 15 years of experience in corporate strategy, service excellence, or a related field.
  • Strong management experience in both direct reporting and matrixed environments.
  • Proven expertise in managing and mentoring professionals, particularly in consulting or coaching.
  • Demonstrated ability to identify challenges and proactively develop solutions, particularly for individuals striving to meet TIGER 21 Group/Brand standards.
  • Excellent communication skills, with the ability to engage diverse individuals.
  • A strong service orientation and a collaborative work approach.
  • Independent, self-motivated, and adaptable to a dynamic, fast-paced environment.

Desired Education:

  • Bachelor’s degree required with preferred disciplines (e.g. business, communications, etc.).  Advanced business or similar degree a plus.

Compensation:

  • Base salary of $225,000 to $250,000
