Richard Casey

Richard Casey is a Managing Director, Strategist / Assistant Portfolio Manager with Bear Stearns. Mr. Casey joined BSAM in 2005. Before joining Bear Stearns, he was the London-based Head of Emerging Europe Fixed Income, Currency and Economic Research at Caboto, the investment banking arm of the largest bank in Italy. Prior to joining Caboto, Mr. Casey was Chief Emerging Markets Strategist at Donaldson, Lufkin and Jenrette and Senior Latin America Equity Strategist at Merrill Lynch. He has also held positions as Chief Latin America Economist and Strategist at IDEA and Emerging Market Debt Strategist at First Chicago in London. Mr. Casey has a B.S. in Business Finance from the University of Southern California and a M.Sc. from the London School of Economics where he also completed the coursework for a Ph.D.
