Joe L. Roby, currently the Chairman of CSFB, will become Chairman Emeritus and Senior Advisor at the end of the year. Mr. Roby, 62, was President and CEO of Donaldson, Lufkin & Jenrette prior to the merger of DLJ and CSFB in November 2000. Mr. Roby will remain a member of CSFB’s Executive Board and will devote a major part of his time to the Firm’s client development activities.
