Prior to joining Perella Weinberg Partners, Mr. Arbess was the Founder and Chief Investment Officer of Xerion Capital Partners from its establishment in 2003. Prior to forming Xerion Capital Partners, Mr. Arbess headed the restructuring and distressed effort at Triton Partners (1998-2002). Previously in his career, Mr. Arbess was a principal at Taiga Capital Group and Stratton Investments (1995-1998), private investment firms specializing in European restructurings. Mr. Arbess began his professional career in 1987 as a first year associate at White & Case, an international law firm. He became a Partner of White & Case in 1992 and was named the firm’s Head of Global Privatization the same year.
Mr. Arbess received a Bachelor of Laws (LL.B) from Osgoode Hall Law School (Toronto) and a Master of Law from Harvard Law School (LL.M).
