Mike Kelly

Since 1986 Mr. Kelly has served as Chairman of The Planning Group, a consulting company which designs and implements life insurance solutions for the banking and financial services industries. Mr. Kelly began his career in the insurance industry in 1969. He was employed by Manufacturers Life Insurance Company (Manulife) for over 20 years. His responsibilities included product development and underwriting in the U.S. marketplace. Prior to founding The Planning Group, Mr. Kelly also founded Practice Management Corporation, a health care company which wrote software for hospital-based medical practices and provided practice management including billing, staffing, accounting and legal services for 250 physician practices in the Southeast. This company was sold and subsequently taken public in 1985.
