Stacy Allred is a Director of Private Planning in the Merrill Lynch Family Office Services Group. Prior to joining Merrill Lynch she spent nine yars with Ernst and Young LLp where she provided comprehensive financial planning services to executives and multi-generational wealthy family groups. Ms. Allred’s experience includes federal and state income taxes, retirement planning, estate planning, philanthropic planning, investment strategy, insurance, stock option and benefits planning. Additionally, Ms. Allred reached thousands of individuals through conducting financial planning workshops, empowering them to make informed financial decisions and take action to improve their financial well – being. While at Merrill Lynch, Ms. Allred has focused on developing a values-based comprehensive financial and estate plan, including a tactical diversification strategy, for clients with concentrated stock positions. She also works with families in addressing the “soft” issues of wealth including children and money issues and preparing heirs to successfully understand and manage wealth. Ms. Allred earned her B.S. in Accounting from Brigham Young University and a Masters in Taxation, with distinction, from DePaul University. She is a certified Financial Planner and Certified Public Accountant in the State of California. Additionally, she holds her Series 2, 7 and 65 licenses.
