Dana Mark

Dana L. Mark is Counsel at Kaye Scholer LLP in the Trusts and Estates Department of the Private Clients Group in the firm’s New York office. Her practice focuses on taxation, trusts and estates administration and estate planning, and also includes charitable planning, international planning and marital agreements.She is a Fellow of the American College of Trust and Estate Counsel where she is an active member of the Fiduciary Income Tax Committee. She is a member of the AmericanBar Association and its Section of Taxation and Section of Real Property, Probate and TrustLaw, the New York State Bar Association and its Section of Taxation and the Trusts and Estates Law Section and the Association of the Bar of the City of New York. She is also a member of the American Law Institute where she is on the Members Consultative Group of the Principles of the Law of Nonprofit Organizations, Restatement Third, Property (Wills and Other Donative Transfers) and Restatement Third, Trusts.Ms. Mark is a Member of the Board of Directors of The Ovarian Cancer Research Fund, Inc. and a Member of the Board, Vice-President and Treasurer of Animal Zone International, Inc.Ms. Mark has been recognized as a leading trusts and estates in Super Lawyersand Best Lawyers.Ms. Mark was admitted to the New York State Bar in 1985, she received a B.A. from New York University, a J.D. (magna cum laude) from Touro College School of Law and an LL.M. (Taxation), New York University School of Law.  She has lectured and written extensively on tax and trust and estate planning.
