Mr. LaGuardia is a founder and partner of LR Global, and a member of the portfolio investment team that manages the firm's funds. Previously, he spent five years at Rockefeller & Co. ("R&Co."), as an equity analyst. His primary responsibilities were to identify undervalued opportunities internationally and to develop long-term financial models for valuation purposes. Prior to joining R&Co., Mr. LaGuardia spent six years at BMW of North America as a financial analyst and later as business planning manager. His initial responsibilities included analysis of financial statements and economic data to determine potential impact on currencies and the company's financial performance. Later, he was responsible for restructuring their U.S. retail network. Prior to his employment with BMW, Mr. LaGuardia spent five years as an auditor at PriceWaterhouseCoopers.
Mr. LaGuardia received a BA in public accounting from Pace University, and an MBA in international finance from New York University. In 1992, he received his Certified Public Accountant designation and is a member of the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants.
