Paul Bloom
Paul Bloom, professor of psychology at Yale University and noted expert in the dynamics behind how children and adults understand the physical and social world, is a leading scientist on the psychology of everyday life. He explores issues common to us all with a particular interest around the science of pleasure and morality. He is the author of several books, including How Pleasure Works: The New Science of Why We Like What We Like and Just Babies: The Origins of Good and Evil. His forthcoming book, Against Empathy: The Case for Rational Compassion, will debut in December 2016.
