Michèle Laframboise
Michèle has a bachelor’s degree in mathematics and economics from Queen’s University in Kinston. In 1994, she earned a Master’s degree in business administration (finance) from McGill University. She spent the first 15 years of her investment career working in institutional fixed income at Goldman Sachs. She was then portfolio manager and shareholder at an important fixed income manager in Montreal with over 30 billion dollars in assets. In 2007, she joined Normandin Beaudry’s investment practice, a private actuarial consulting firm. In the last 10 years she has consulted for billionaire pension plans, foundations, and smaller organizations in optimizing their investment structure, selecting managers and implementing private debt and direct real asset investments. She has developed the alternative fixed income research expertise since 2008. Alongside Alexandre, she has founded the private management group within Normandin Beaudry. Michèle also currently serves on the board of directors of the OIIQ Foundation.
