Lara Sass

Lara Sass is a trusts and estates attorney with her own practice located in midtown Manhattan and Roslyn, Long Island.  Prior to starting her own boutique firm, Lara worked at Willkie, Farr & Gallagher, where she practiced trusts and estates law for many years, focusing on sophisticated planning for high net worth individuals.  Lara specializes in advising clients on lifetime and post-mortem strategies to reduce gift, estate and generation-skipping transfer taxes.  Lara’s practice also focuses on basic and complex estate planning, estate and trust administration, business succession planning, formation and advising of charitable organizations, and drafting and negotiation of prenuptial and postnuptial agreements.  Lara graduated in 1994 from the University of Pennsylvania, magna cum laude, where she minored in Legal Studies at the Wharton School of Business, and received her J.D. in 1997 from New York University School of Law.  Lara serves on the Board of the SASS Foundation for Medical Research, Inc.
