Cobb Mixter

Prior to joining Hakluyt in 2016, Cobb was a government affairs adviser at the Alcoa Corporation in New York City.  He was previously deputy assistant secretary for legislative affairs at the US Department of the Treasury, where he was responsible for managing relationships with relevant committees of jurisdiction and leadership offices in the House of Representatives and Senate.  Cobb was also managing director for China operations at the Treasury, and a senior staff member at the House of Representatives’ Committee on Foreign Affairs.  Prior to his government service, he was an analyst in the business intelligence group at Lehman Brothers. Cobb is a graduate of the Johns Hopkins-Nanjing Center for Chinese and American Studies and holds a Masters degree in Chinese studies from the University of London, School of Oriental and African Affairs.
