Russell Greenberg
Mr. Greenberg has extensive private equity and buyout investing experience. He founded Altus to continue Max Capital’s successful strategy of investing in middle-market manufacturing companies. Mr. Greenberg founded Max Capital in 1997 and has completed 8 transactions exceeding $228 million in value since that time as head of that firm. Mr. Greenberg will continue as President of Max Capital until its existing investments have been exited. Prior to founding Max Capital, he specialized in mergers, acquisitions and corporate finance for several investment banking firms from 1981 to 1996, including Chatfield Dean & Co., Brean Murray, Foster Securities, Daiwa Securities America, and Prudential-Bache Capital Funding. Since 1982, Mr. Greenberg has completed over 60 corporate finance and merger transactions with an aggregate value over $5 billion, and since 1994 has completed 11 private equity investments as a leading principal valued in excess of $277 million.
