With more than 25 years in the ever-changing healthcare industry, Allen McGee understands the special challenges of taking care of business while providing the highest quality care to patients. Before joining RCOA as CEO, Mr. McGee was chief executive officer and co-founder of Dialysis Centers of America, the largest dialysis treatment organization in Chicago. Before co-founding DCA, he served as senior vice president responsible for marketing, sales and acquisition development at Damon Corporation, a clinical laboratory services company that was acquired by Corning in 1993. His background also includes the positions of senior executive vice president of Specialty Laboratories in Los Angeles, vice president of marketing at International Clinical Laboratories (acquired by SmithKline) and national marketing director of American Biomedical Corporation (acquired by National Health Laboratories). Donald C. Meder, Chief Operating Officer Don Meder’s achievements on the management side of healthcare began more than 25 years ago at the Upjohn Company and haven’t stopped since. Using his knowledge of the industry, his leadership skills and intuitive strengths, he has helped physicians and healthcare institutions improve the quality of care in the face of ever-increasing budgetary demands. Prior to joining RCOA as COO, Mr. Meder was executive director of business development for Quest Diagnostics, a $1.6 billion clinical laboratory services company that was spun-off from Corning in 1997. Before the spin-off, Mr. Meder was the vice president of the Healthcare Alliance Division, and vice president and general manager of Corning Clinical Laboratories’ Florida business unit. His impressive credentials also include the positions of general manager of the Florida operations for Damon Clinical Laboratories, a company which was acquired by Corning in 1993; regional sales director for Damon Clinical Laboratories; and sales manager for the Laboratory Procedures division of the Upjohn Company.
