Catherine Wood

Catherine Wood joined the firm in 2001 from Tupelo Capital Management where she was a general partner, comanaging global equity-oriented portfolios. Prior to that, Wood worked for 18 years with Jennison Associates as a director and portfolio manager, equity research analyst, and chief economist. As a portfolio manager at Jennison, she invested in both US and international securities. Wood’s experience in research ranges from media, telecommunications and emerging technologies to business services, consumer nondurables and basic industries. She started her career as an assistant economist at Capital Research from 1977 to 1980. Wood received a BS, summa cum laude, in finance and economics from the University of Southern California.
