Derek Brown

Derek Brown joined Angelo,Gordon in 2009 to focus on new business initiatives including the AG GECC public-private investment partnership (PPIP) fund, the firm’s publicly traded REIT, AG Mortgage Investment Trust, Inc. and distributing the firm’s investment products on selected wealth management platforms.  Prior to joining the firm, Derek worked at Credit Suisse in the equity capital markets group, primarily focused on the Financial Institutions sector.  Before that, Derek worked at Deutsche Bank in the debt capital markets group and Merrill Lynch in the investment banking group.  Derek holds a B.A. degree from Harvard College and an M.B.A. degree from the Harvard Business School.
