James Broder

James Broder is Director of Starwood Capital Group’s Global Capital Raising and Investor Relations Group, where he is responsible for targeted regions and investors.Prior to joining Starwood Capital in 2012, Mr. Broder spent 15 years as a Senior Managing Director in Fixed Income at Bear Stearns, with a focus on institutional rate sales. After Bear Stearns’ takeover in 2008, he moved to Deutsche Bank, where he served as a Managing Directorin Fixed Income, in middle market sales. He subsequently served as a Managing Director at Pierpont Securities. He formerly sat on the Board of Directors for Autism Speaks for almost 10 years.Mr. Broder holds a B.A. degree from George Washington University’s International BusinessSchool.
