John Carter

As Principal and Co-Founder of Capital Strategies, John specializes in serving both corporate and affluent individual clients. He has served with the firm for 25 years.  John is a member of the Million Dollar Round Table, Top of the Table, Association of Advanced Life Underwriters (AALU), CLU, ChFC, IAR and the Birmingham Estate Planning Council. He also serves as the designated Principal of the office of supervisory jurisdiction for FNBB Capital Markets, LLC, and is Series 7, 63, and 65 licensed. Outside the office, John is active as a Deacon/Elder at Covenant Presbyterian Church, is a member of the United Way Toqueville society and supports the Alabama Symphony Orchestra as well as the Birmingham Museum of Art. John and his wife, Molly, have three grown children and three grandchildren. Whenever possible, he makes time for fly fishing, hunting, tennis, and enjoying fine wines. John earned a B.S. in Finance from the University of Alabama.
