Martin Atkin

Mr. Atkin joined the firm in 2005 as a Senior Portfolio Manager. Previously, he had been in corporate finance at J.P. Morgan for 23 years, where he was a member of senior management and for two years ran the JRM, a group responsible globally for the recruiting, training, and development of all associates and analysts in the Investment Bank. During the prior 10 years, he was a senior banker and managing director responsible for the diversified industries group and was a member of the Investment Banking Management Committee. In 1987, he came to the United States to run the leveraged loan syndications group; he spent his first years at J.P. Morgan in London working in a variety of capital markets. Mr. Atkin earned a BA from Trinity College, Cambridge, and received an MA from Cambridge University, both in economics.
