Momtchil Pojarliev

Momtchil Pojarliev PhD, CFA was Head of Currencies at Hermes Pension Fund Management, the executive arm for the BT Pension Scheme and the largest corporate pension plan in the UK prior to joining Hathersage.  Before Hermes, Momtchil was Senior FX Manager at Pictet & Cie in Geneva and at Invesco in Frankfurt and London. Momtchil has published extensively in the areas of portfolio construction and separation of currency alpha and beta.  He is on the editorial board of the CFA’s Financial Analysts Journal.  Momtchil is a member of the American Finance Association, the CFA Institute, Swiss Society for Financial Market Research and The Economic Club of New York.
