Zac Zeitlin

Zac Zeitlin worked for Silver Point Capital (SPC), a $6 billion multi-strategy credit opportunity fund based in Greenwich, Connecticut prior to leading the investment activity of New Ground Ventures and serving as its Principal.  Mr. Zeitlin was one of the first hires of SPC in 2002 and went on to help build and run SPC’s Principal Finance (SPF) business.  An innovator and leader in private, middle-market credit, SPF specialized in custom financing solutions, often helping companies resolve financial distress.  Over a nearly nine-year career at SPC, Mr. Zeitlin was an active contributor in many areas of the firm’s overall development and served as one of its five partners when he resigned in 2010.  Prior to SPC, Mr. Zeitlin was a private equity investor at TPG Capital in San Francisco, and in the Principal Investment Area of Goldman Sachs & Co., in New York City.  Mr. Zeitlin is a Plan-II Business Honors graduate, with Highest Honors, of the University of Texas at Austin. He lives in Westport, CT, with his wife and three children.  Mr. Zeitlin is a Trustee of Greens Farms Academy and a Board Member of Big Picture Learning.
