  • YPO is a global leadership community of chief executives, driven by the shared belief that the world needs better leaders. Members join YPO to focus on wealth creation and becoming stronger leaders.

Member Profiles & Membership Requirements

TIGER 21 and YPO both maintain different membership standards to shape their communities—and attract different members as a result.

TIGER 21 vets prospective candidates through the lens of the 5Cs of Membership: Character, Contribution, Capacity, Conditions, and Capital. 

  • Under the capital requirement, Members must have verifiable investable assets or qualifying net worth of at least $20M USD. 
  • There is no age requirement for Membership in TIGER 21.

YPO prospective members must meet four criteria:

  • They must be under 45 years old at the time of their application. YPO Gold membership is available for YPO alumni 45+.
  • They must be President, CEO, Chairperson of the Board, Managing Director, Managing Partner, or hold an equivalent title. 
  • They must lead an organization with at least 50 full-time employees or an organization with at least 15 full-time employees and minimum annual employee compensation of $2.5M USD.
  • Finally, the organization must meet a revenue threshold that varies by industry. 

Can Someone Belong to TIGER 21 and YPO?

If a candidate meets the membership requirements for both TIGER 21 and YPO, they can potentially hold membership in both organizations. Some TIGER 21 Members remain interested in leading businesses as executives. Different Meeting Schedules, Formats & Facilitation

Both TIGER 21 and YPO offer members a regular meeting format to gather with their peers.

  • Group Meetings form the core of the TIGER 21 Member experience.
    • Group Size: During confidential monthly Meetings, Members gather with up to 15 of their peers, who become a trusted board of directors.
    • Meeting Format: Within the TIGER 21 signature full-day Meeting format, Members discuss topics that matter to them, including investment opportunities, wealth preservation, family dynamics, and legacy.
    • Facilitation: Each Meeting is led by a TIGER 21 Chair, a skilled professional facilitator and proven leader who possesses the rare combination of experience and knowledge of group dynamics, business and investment acumen.
    • Outside Presenters: TIGER 21 Chairs select relevant educational presenters for their Group but maintain a strict no-solicitation environment.
    • Visitation Privileges: Members have the ability to visit other TIGER 21 Meetings across the globe, subject to space and Chair approval. 
  • YPO members meet in monthly half-day forums, organized by local Chapters:
    • Group Size: YPO forums gather 6-10 members in a confidential format. 
    • Meeting Format: Members share insights, experiences, and challenges to gain valuable perspectives and guidance to propel their companies forward.
  • Facilitation: Forums are facilitated by YPO members on a rotating basis.
  • Outside Presenters: Usually reserved for Chapter events.
