For many entrepreneurs, a major liquidity event is a milestone moment—the culmination of years of long nights, high-stress problem-solving, and massive uncertainty. But the skills that led up to this moment aren’t always the skills that prepare you for what’s next.

Join TIGER 21 Chairs Vera AndersonReneé Erlich, and Arthur Woods for a candid discussion around what founders wish they knew about their liquidity events—and what they would have done differently.

Together, these three Chairs have seen Members work through every stage of the liquidity journey—from the pre-sale planning most founders don’t start early enough to the financial and emotional complexity of what comes after.

They’ll discuss:

  • Why the mindset shift from operator to investor is harder than most founders expect, and what it actually takes to navigate it well
  • How family dynamics can change during a liquidity event, including the biggest mistake first-generation founders can make
  • How to illuminate your blind spots and why a group of your peers (and not your advisors!) are best positioned to see what you can’t
  • Why defining what success really means to you, before you sign, may be the most important preparation of all

Join us for this inside look at the liquidity journey, from the questions founders wish they’d asked sooner, to the human realities that shape what comes next. Whether you’re considering a sale, finalizing a deal, or exploring new purpose after a recent exit, this conversation will help you shape a thoughtful, more fulfilling post-liquidity journey.
