TIGER 21 Names New Co-Chairs for Vancouver Group

New York, NY (January 22, 2013) – TIGER 21, the premier peer-to-peer learning group for high-net-worth investors in North America, has announced that Roxana Colquhoun and Ben Slager were named new co-chairs for its Vancouver group.

Ms. Colquhoun has broad experience in addressing the concerns of high-net-worth individuals, particularly in the areas of intergenerational wealth transfer facilitation and financial literacy for early childhood and teens. In 2007, she co-founded HNW Services Inc., which provides support to high- and ultra-high-net-worth families who wish to outsource their “family office” needs. A Certified Management Accountant, she also spent 10-years advising entrepreneurs and affluent families on financial matters, most recently with PricewaterhouseCoopers LLP (BC Region).

Ms. Colquhoun studied at the London School of Economics and the Sauder School of Business (University of British Columbia) where she is a graduate of the Family Enterprise Advisor Program. She is an active member of the Institute of Certified Management Accountants as well as the Canadian Association of Family Enterprise.Mr. Slager is an attorney specializing in private equity, venture capital finance and mergers & acquisitions transactions for privately-owned companies, inventors, and venture and angel investors, among other clients. He is a named partner with Mogan Daniels Slager LLP. He is also chairman of a venture and angel-backed start-up company based in North Vancouver, which was recently listed in Profit Magazine’s “Hot 50” list as being one of Canada’s fastest growing emerging companies.

Mr. Slager has an undergraduate degree from the University of Western Ontario and a law degree from The University of British Columbia.
