• There is a trend in Real Estate for long-term security in income-producing properties in “hotspots” like New York City, San Francisco, Los Angeles, Miami, and Boston.
• In this low interest rate environment, Members arepushed to take risk. ThereforeMembers are updating their approach to investing by focusing more on assessing a new investment’s risk more than its returns. A move that disrupts their more typicalbarbell approach – withequity to cash/fixed income asset allocations closer to 80-20 than the more typical 60-40.
