Private equity was a popular investment choice last year for the 230 multimillionaire members of private peer network Tiger 21.
As a group, they held 21% of their money in private-equity investments as of the end of the fourth quarter, just shy of the 22% all-time high allocation recorded by Tiger’s first-quarter survey last year.
