Chris Cecil is Chair of Charlotte 01 and Family Office 01. He is the Founder and President of Biltmore Family Office, LLC, a collaborative family office group. He brings 30 years of experience to investment-oriented business owners, entrepreneurs, and their families focusing on such areas as investment management, asset allocation, investment policy creation, multi-generational planning, and the succession of family offices. Previously, Chris was a Partner of GenSpring Family Offices, has served as a President for JPMorgan Private Bank, and Senior Managing Director at Brown Brothers Harriman & Co. Cecil graduated from the University of North Carolina and has received executive degrees from the Harvard Business School and the Darden Business School. He serves on numerous philanthropic and investment committee boards, as well as several family office governance boards nationwide. -

Philip Marxen is Chair of Charlotte 02. He is an investor and entrepreneur following 14 years of institutional private equity experience at Falcon Private Holdings, SK Capital, Blackstone, and TPG Capital. Philip is the owner and managing partner of Helix Private Holdings, a portfolio of Carolinas-based, senior care businesses including Hallmark Homecare of South Charlotte and York County, Silverstone Financial Fiduciary, and Care Cottage of Waverly. He received his MBA from the Harvard Business School and his BA in Political Economy from Georgetown University. Philip actively supports local charitable organizations including the Alzheimer's Association and MusicLand. A wine enthusiast and avid player of tennis and pickleball, Philip lives in Charlotte, NC with his two daughters.
