A transition can reshape both a woman’s wealth and her identity. Whether through the sale of a company, the loss of a spouse, a divorce, a step into family leadership, or any number of other life events, many women in the TIGER 21 community have found themselves at a turning point.

These moments often ask women to take on new responsibilities—and even a new role, as a steward of wealth, a decision-maker, and a leader. Yet, for many women, this role doesn’t come with a built-in support system, leaving them with few people they can speak with openly about what comes next.

Join TIGER 21 Chief Experience Officer Lisa Holladay, Washington, D.C. Chair MonaLisa Como, and Minneapolis Chair Bonnie Speer McGrath as they discuss the top-of-mind considerations for women writing their next chapter and seeking a community to support them as they manage significant wealth.

You’ll discover:

  • What the Great Wealth Transfer means for women, and why recent widows are nearly three times as likely to change advisors as other households.
  • How women who built and sold a company develop the new muscles it takes to become confident investors and stewards of their wealth.
  • Where women can speak candidly about the complexities of wealth with peers who understand them in ways few others can.
  • How women are rethinking philanthropy, with creative approaches that go beyond writing a check.
  • The surprising topics women can only talk about with other women, from dating and relationships to the expectations that come with wealth.

Whether you’re preparing for a sale, navigating a recent loss or divorce, stepping into a new role in your family’s wealth, or simply looking for new perspectives as you decide what’s next for you, this conversation will help you move forward with purpose—and with the support of a community behind you.

Bonnie Speer McGrath is Chair of Minneapolis 01 and leader of the Women of TIGER 21 Network. A people connoisseur, community builder, and meaningful connector, she is grateful to bring TIGER 21 to a broad range of people. Raised by two entrepreneurs, she found it natural at 24 to launch two startups,  importing strapless bathing suit tops from Brazil and teaching bankers and lawyers how to optimize desktop technology. She was fortunate to sell both companies—to Braza Bras and The Washington Post. She then paused being a CEO to focus on her four children, community engagement, and private and non-profit board work.
