Tyler Banks is President and CEO of Willis Personal Lines, LLC. and National Practice Leader for the personal insurance business within Willis North America. He joined the firm in 2012 and is responsible for all phases of the Personal Lines and Private Client businesses. Tyler also serves on the Advisory Council of AIG’s Private Client Group.
Prior to Willis, Tyler served as sales leader for Marsh Risk & Insurance Services specializing in the sales and risk consulting in the Private Client Services department. In these positions Tyler was responsible for teams of highly specialized individuals focused on High Net Worth business providing property & casualty insurance products and services to address risk exposures and optimize wealth preservation for high net worth individuals and families. Prior to Marsh, Tyler served as a regional director of Sperry Van Ness’ National Advisor Organization targeting the company’s growth in the West region of the United States as well as training advisors on marketing tools and services.
Tyler earned a Master of Business Administration from San Diego State University. He also earned a Bachelor of Science with an emphasis in Marketing and a minor in Japanese from the Marriott School of Management at Brigham Young University (BYU). Tyler also served as VP of the Samuel Hall Society. Tyler regularly volunteers through his church, mentoring youth on interpersonal communication, organization and managerial skills. He also volunteers with the Boy Scouts of America as a varsity scout leader, educating youth on outdoor survival skills. Tyler currently sits on the board of the BYU Management Society, in Orange County, promoting ethical and moral leadership in the workplace. He is also a board member for Festival of Children Foundation, whose mission is to improve the lives of children by strengthening the charities that serve them.
