Charles G. Boyd
General Boyd is President and CEO of BENS (Business Executives for National Security), a national nonpartisan organization of business leaders dedicated to applying modern business practices to the national security structures and processes. Following his retirement from active duty with the U.S. Air Force in 1995, General Boyd served as the Director, 21st Century International Legislators Project for the Congressional Institute, Inc. and as a Strategy Consultant to Newt Gingrich. In July 1998, General Boyd was named Executive Director, U.S. Commission on National Security/21stCentury (Hart-Rudman Commission). In August 2001, he was named Senior Vice President and Washington Program Director, Council on Foreign Relations, Washington, DC. General Boyd is a graduate of the University of Kansas, the Air War College, as well as the Program for Senior Executives in National and International Security at Harvard University.
