EXPLORE India: Inside an Extraordinary Journey Curated for TIGER 21 Members

TIGER 21’s EXPLORE trips offer Members full cultural immersion in iconic locations around the world. The itineraries include an abundance of opportunities to learn about the area’s local culture, history, cuisine, art and architecture, natural wonders, business climate, economic opportunities, and more.
Besides traveling to “bucket list” locations, EXPLORE trips give Members the chance to forge meaningful connections and lasting relationships, share inspiring conversations in unforgettable settings, and experience other cultures through an exclusive lens.
Recently, Members embarked on EXPLORE India, a nine-day journey showcasing the country’s vibrant lifestyle, timeless heritage, and breathtaking landscapes. From the historic charm of Delhi to the regal grandeur of Agra and Jaipur, the wilderness of Ranthambore to the cosmopolitan energy of Mumbai, the trip included world-class accommodations, exceptional culinary experiences, and private access to museums, palaces, shops and couture stores exclusively for the TIGER 21 Members who attended.
EXPLORE India Highlights: City-by-City
Stop 1: Delhi, a dynamic blend of ancient history and modern vibrancy featuring centuries-old monuments, bustling markets, and contemporary culture.
- Members enjoyed guided tours of Rashtrapati Bhavan, the official residence of the President of India; Humayun’s Tomb, one of the earliest examples of the garden tomb characteristic of Mughal-era architecture; and Bangla Sahib Gurudwara, one of the most prominent Sikh houses of worship. Their excursions also brought them by Qutub Minar, the tallest brick minaret and UNESCO World Heritage Site, and India Gate.
- Members attended an unforgettable dinner at an art gallery in Delhi. After meeting the featured artist, Members dined in an exquisite outdoor setting under a banyan tree. Each course of the meal was inspired by a piece of artwork, and the chef came out to explain the meaning behind each dish.



Stop 2: Agra, the home to the iconic Taj Mahal offering a glimpse into India’s rich architectural and cultural heritage.
- Members enjoyed five-star accommodations at the Oberoi Amarvilas, where all rooms had a view of the Taj Mahal; a private lunch at Esphahan, where traditional Indian flavors are reimagined with a gastronomic twist; and experiential shopping at the Kalakriti Centre.
- A must for all visitors – Members visited the Taj Mahal, one of the New 7 Wonders of the World, said to be a symbol of the universe in perfect harmony. In honor of the jewels that adorn the Taj Mahal, Members were invited to wear jewel tones to a dinner experience featuring a traditional Mayur Dance performance, where the womens’ hands were adorned with Mehendi, and men enjoyed a Safa tying ceremony.


Stop 3: Jaipur, known as the Pink City in honor of its trademark building color, and home to regal palaces and vibrant bazaars against a desert backdrop.
- Members enjoyed a Private Tour of the iconic City Palace; a traditional haveli for a glimpse into timeless traditions; and kite flying while savoring crispy kachoris, a royal favorite for centuries.
- For further royal treatment, Members attended the Amrapali Jewels Museum, showcasing treasures once adorned by royalty, where they also enjoyed a homestyle Dabba lunch.
Stop 4: Ranthambore, a wildlife sanctuary where ancient ruins and lush landscapes set the stage for encounters with majestic wildlife.
- Members got an up-close look at the untamed beauty of Ranthambore during safari adventures, and spotted Bengal Tigers along the way.
- After time for spa appointments, high tea, and craft & artistry activities, Members also had an exclusive dinner with the Maharaja of Khetri, a 30-year-old luxury hotelier and co-organizer of India’s hippest music festival, Magnetic Fields, at his castle.

Stop 5: Mumbai, a vibrant metropolis where colonial heritage, cutting-edge commerce, and Bollywood glamour converge.
- The itinerary’s last stop brought Members to the country’s capital city, which was jam-packed with activities like a tour of Dr. Bhau Daji Lad Museum, shopping spree at Fabindia & Colaba Market, gastronomic culinary experiences, and more.
- The final experience brought Members to a Bollywood studio, where they were clothed with hair and makeup, then learned a choreographed Bollywood dance routine. They were joined by one of the most famous actresses in India’s history: Karisma Kapoor.
Exploring India’s Economic Opportunities
While EXPLORE India’s agenda focused on experiencing the local culture through elevated experiences and seamless service, the Members did spend timing diving into conversations about market trends, investment strategies, and opportunities shaping India’s economic landscape.
