NUMBER OF MILLIONAIRES IS GROWING GLOBALLY
The rich aregetting richer.Both the number of people with investableassets of at least $1 million in U.S. dollarsand the total wealth that represents are expanding around the globe.
World Wealth Report found big leaps in the ranks of millionaires in North America and Europe, where wealthy populationsgrew 7.8 percent and 7.7 percent. That was an increase from 2 percent and 5 percentin 2015. Growth slowed slightly in the Asia-Pacific region (excluding Japan), home to the most millionaires, accelerating to 7.4 percent from9 percent.
